FRANCE – LOVELY COLLECTION IN A SCOTT SPECIALTY ALBUM – This is an attractive mint and used collection of roughly two thousand different issues tracing French postal stamps from the middle of the 19^th century and into the last quarter of the 20^th century on its modern terminus presented in a very a nice Scott Specialty album. The collection includes such early period standouts like mint #38, used #12, 13, 20, 133-137 among others, along with dozens of Navigation and Commerce stamps from the turn of the century period, and then a comprehensively populated run through the 20^th century.

Densely populated regular section is nicely complemented by an equally nice back-of-the-book portion, which is dominated by semi-postal subsection. Great resource for those looking to strengthen their French collection all along over century long axis! Gen.
