NETHERLANDS – HIGH VALUE EXPANSIVE SELECTION – This is a massive national Dutch selection of some two thousand mint and used issues that begins right at the dawn of philately showcasing such premium standouts like mint #1 (2), 5, 6, 22, 80 (3), 83a, used #3 (3), 6 (3), 53b, and then runs well into the second half of the 20^th century presented neatly stacked on Scott numbered stock pages! The selection comes from a vast worldwide stock selection of a major former US stamp dealer of yesteryear, and, largely due to limited duplication, in so many ways feels more like a fragmented collection that stock! The 20^th century is every bit as solid, showcasing 1925-26 Syncopated Issues of Queen Wilhelmina (2 x #142a-156a) and though in this instance the sets are short, they run only to 30 cents, both are never hinged! Very nice grouping that will appeal to collectors looking to bolster their Dutch portfolio, while those seeking resale potential would be able to form several very representative sublots with numerous better singles!
