UNITED STATES – Nice expansive and multifaceted collection of several thousand issues neatly organized in seven volumes covering USPS stamps from the very dawn of philately on one end and then spilling into early 21^st century on its modern terminus. While the collection does include 19^th century material, this portion of rather sparsely populated. The 20^th century portion is, on the contrary, very comprehensively populated, and virtually all mint. A couple volumes are allocated to plate number strips, including expansive modern subsections. Furthermore, the collection includes numerous high value issues from the turn of the 21^st century, so it is not surprising that even straightforward postal face value alone quickly adds up to $1,300!
